This is a new site, and just to get things going here, I thought I’d be the first to share some awesome things that God can do through individual lives on the road. The TIP, in the subject, stands for a “Testimony In Progress,” which you will find on our personal website “The Journey.” If you'd like to check that out, you’re welcome to.
For this trip, I’ll share just a bit of what God is doing during our time away from the Bay Area right now. My husband’s job, from time to time, takes him to different areas to work. On this particular trip, we are in Arcata, CA, (just north of Eureka) and I am enjoying the quiet that comes when the busyness of life is left behind, because we are the “foreigners” just passing through right now. There are no knocks on the door or friends to meet for lunch. During a time such as this, I enjoy studying, praying and writing. At the present moment, I am excited to be writing a new Bible study on Spiritual Fitness. Each day, as my husband goes off to work, I make my way into our livingroom/diningroom/kitchen...it’s all one and the same in an RV. It then becomes my office, and my place of worship and prayer. The words flow easily in the quiet of an RV, in a new town, with new views out our window. It’s very enjoyable and a total blessing to be able to have this time away.
